the aim of this page is to contribute to raising awareness about how certain jokes can lead to discrimination and hostility among members of society. It is important to teach students the benefits of jokes and also the drastic ,negative repurcussions they have on certain minority groups and let them identify the embarrassments and difficulties these jokes set up and the social and cultural context which gives rise to this verbal aggression;and thus,create the need for more dialogue, social inclusion and non-discrimination discourses in support of minority groups, which will ultimately have benefits for the entire society.
It is also important to send the message that discriminatory jokes are incompatible with the values they are taught.
